Summer 2025 Camp Offerings
South Lake Schools is planning on providing summer camps for students to provide enrichment and prevent learning loss.
Camp Information
KinderConnect and First Fundamentals Camps will be in session June 30 - July 31 (Monday - Thursday)
Times: 8:35 - 12:50 including lunch
Location: Koepsell Early Childhood Center, 21760 Raven, Eastpointe, MI 48021
Summer Scholars, and STEM and Literacy Camps will be in session June 30 - July 31 (Monday - Thursday)
Times: 8:30 - 12:45 including lunch
Location: South Lake Middle School, 21621 California, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080
Middle School Camps will be in session June 30 - July 31 (Monday - Thursday)
Times: 8:00 a.m. - 11:10 a.m. including lunch

Camp Offerings:
- KinderConnect - Students entering Kindergarten
- First Fundamentals - Students entering 1st grade
- REGISTRATION IS FULL - STEM & Literacy Camp - Entering 2nd - 5th grades
- Summer Scholars Camp - Students entering 2nd - 5th grades
- REGISTRATION IS FULL - Math Mindset Camp - Students entering 6th - 8th grades
- Readers & Writer Camp - Students entering 6th - 8th grades
Students will be provided with breakfast prior to the beginning of camp and lunch at the end of camp each day.

Registration
Families can register their student(s) for summer camps by completing the online enrollment forms for each specific camp. Please click on the links to the right for more information about each camp.
Latchkey services will be available to students enrolled in summer camps, Monday through Thursday.
📍 Location: Koepsell Early Childhood Center
🕓 Camp dismissal until 4:00 p.m.
💵 Registration Fee: $40
👧 Cost for First Student: $4.50 per hour for the first student (charged by the minute)
👦👧 Each Additional Sibling: $3.10 per hour for each additional student (charged by the minute)
📌 Available for students ages 5 through 12 (up to rising 6th grade only).

📢 Attention!
Students attending Summer Enrichment ☀️📘 at South Lake Middle School 🏫 who also require Summer Latchkey 🧩 will be taken to Koepsell 🚌 after Summer Enrichment is over, by school bus 🚍, in order to access Summer Latchkey.
📝 Registration Details
Summer Latchkey Registration will take place at the South Lake Administration Building during the week of June 16, 2025.
✅ Families current on their Latchkey bills through the week of June 2, 2025 are eligible to register.
💸 Families with outstanding balances must pay in full prior to registration.
🖥 iPads will be available at the registration fairs to make payments through eFunds.
💵 Cash and check payments will also be accepted.

📍 South Lake Administration Building
Tuesday, June 17 – 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday, June 18 – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, June 19 – 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

🗓 Appointments are available between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the South Lake Administration Building.
❗ Important Note
If your child needs Summer Latchkey to attend Summer Enrichment, they must be registered and your bill must be current by June 30, 2025.
🚫 Students who are not registered due to unpaid balances will not be allowed to stay after Summer Enrichment ends.
👩🏫 Summer Enrichment staff are not available to supervise children after the program ends.
