Athletic Registration

NOTE: All students must meet the requirements below to participate in middle school and/or high school athletics:

Athletic Eligibility

A student must maintain an adequate academic record to participate in athletics or any extracurricular activity. The decision for determining when a student becomes ineligible is the responsibility of the high school Athletic Director. The MHSAA policy determines current eligibility, specifically Section 7(a) of Regulation I: Students must have passed four classes in their previous full time semester of enrollment to be eligible in the subsequent semester. A student entering the 9th grade for the first time may compete without regard for his/her record in the 8th grade.

A student’s attendance must also be in good standing. Athletes on the No Activities List for attendance violations will not be allowed to practice and play in events until they have met the requirements to be removed from the No Activities List. Athletes may still be required by their coach to attend practices and games but will not be allowed to participate.
