SCHOOLS OF CHOICE FAMILIES - Applications must be approved by the Director of Curriculum before beginning registration. The Schools of Choice window is only open during approved dates determined by the Board of Education. Please call (586) 435-1640 with any questions.
This process will take time to complete. Your patience is appreciated. The child's birth certificate, all residency documents, immunizations, etc., MUST be brought to the South Lake Board Office in person. The South Lake Board Office is located at 23101 Stadium Boulevard, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080.
For families without internet access or access to an electronic device, we offer an enrollment kiosk at the South Lake Board Office. If you need to visit a registration kiosk for enrollment, or if you have any questions, please contact [email protected] or call (586) 435-1640.

The Schools of Choice window for the 2023-2024 school year is now closed.
2024-2025
2024 - 2025 Schools of Choice Application Deadline: Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.

Please review the first page of the application closely before submitting the Schools of Choice application.
The biological parent(s) that is listed on the birth certificate and/or legal guardian(s) must be the owner of record or hold the lease agreement within Macomb county.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
All requirements must be met and required documentation must be attached to the application before the application will be accepted for review.
After the completed application is submitted for review, the Director of Curriculum will either approve or deny.
You will be notified via email within 2 weeks of submitting the completed application.
Applications MUST be submitted within the application window. Late applications will not be accepted.
