South Lake Special Services
The South Lake Schools Special Services Department works to oversee programming and services for a wide variety of students and families in the district. These programs and services include:
-preschool programming: Walk-in Speech Services, Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), and the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)
-K-12 Special Education
-K-12 Section 504 Plan Implementation
-Health Plans and related training for students with medical diagnoses that may include but are not limited to: Epilepsy/Seizure Disorders, Diabetes, Asthma, Allergies, Sickle-Cell Anemia, Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, and more.
-McKinney-Vento awareness and support
-Foster Care
-Title IX (in collaboration with the Human Resources Department)
