Strategic Planning

South Lake Schools is currently engaged in the Strategic Planning process and the Board of Education is committed to approving a final plan with implementation in the 2024/25 school year.  Engaging in this process shows the Board of Education’s commitment to moving South Lake Schools forward with strategic and proactive thinking because good planning is a dynamic and on-going process, not an event.  Moreover, the Strategic Planning process ensures focus, alignment, and accountability throughout the District and to the community. 

Our Advisory Committee has committed to meeting on January 31^st, March 6^th, April 8^th, and May 1^st to revise/reaffirm the District vision, mission, and values and to establish areas of focus for the strategic plan.  The Advisory Committee is comprised of Board of Education members, the superintendent, central office administrators, building administrators, teachers, support staff, students, parents/guardians, local business owners, local clergy, and a representative of the City of St. Clair Shores.
