This is a recording of the South Lake Schools Board of Education Meeting for August, 2020. The Board discusses the reopening of school for the 2020 - 21 school year. The Board ultimately decided to adopt the proposed Reopen, Reimagine, Reengage Plan proposed by the South Lake Reopening Committee, but also decided that ALL students would begin the school year remotely. The Board will meet on September 23, 2020 to evaluate the current safety needs in the community and determine a date for students to attend school in person.
