HAVE A WONDERFUL SUMMER BREAK

Our entire staff at South Lake Middle School wishes all of our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade families a safe, healthy, enjoyable, and relaxing summer break. 

We look forward to greeting all of our students on the first day of school, Tuesday, Sept. 8th. and you our parents at the Curriculum Night/Family Ice Cream Social on Thursday, September 17th.

CURRICULUM NIGHT/OPEN HOUSE AND SOCIAL, THURSDAY, SEPT. 17th

The SLMS Open House/Curriculum Night and Family Social will be held on Thursday, September 17th at 6:00 p.m. Invitations will be mailed home during the week of September 8th. When you receive your invitations, please complete the schedule on the invite with your child and bring it with you to follow his/her daily class rotation. A copy is also available by clicking below.

We strongly encourage you to attend and learn first hand about your child's learning experience and daily schedule for the school year.

Immediately following the Curriculum/Open House, we invite families to join us in the cafeteria for an informal Ice Cream Social with our SLMS staff.  Please mark your calendars and we look forward to seeing you on Sept. 17th.

SLMS 2009-10 CALENDAR

The 2009-10 Family Calendar will be available on line just prior to the start of the school year.  The preparation of the school calendar will follow the completion of contractual negotiations.  The first day of school for our students is Tuesday, September 8th at 7:55 a.m.

6th GRADE PARENT GUIDE PUBLICATION IN SEPTEMBER

The grade level Parent Guide will be prepared and posted in September, 2009, once all of our 6th grade teachers our at SLMS.
