South Lake Schools will begin its budgeting process for the 2010-2011 school year with a series of 3 meetings. All meetings will be held in the Administration Building.
Meeting dates and times are as follows:
February 23, 2010 7 p.m.—8:30 p.m.
March 2, 2010 7 p.m.—8:30 p.m.
March 16, 2010 7 p.m.—8:30 p.m.
If you would like to participate in these meetings, please contact Veda Hall at 586-435-1602 or vhall@solake.org. IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND ALL MEETINGS FOR THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE MEETING, PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO PARTICIPATE.
We will report out to the community after our last meeting. We are seeking balanced representation at these meetings, so it is possible that not everyone will be able to participate in these three meetings. However, everyone will be invited to a meeting where the committee’s recommendations are presented.
Please see the attached letter regarding the procedure and the need for students to leave school immediatley after dismissal. Only students who have scheduled supervised after school activities are allowed to remain. Non supervised students are eligible for consequences as noted in the attached letter.
We appreciate your cooperation.

Students can also be dropped off or picked up on Maxine, but only on the same side of the street as our school.
Under no circumstances are students to be dropped off or picked up on California or in the Staff Parking Lot on the west side of the building.
