2009 Summary
The 2009 season was re-introduced at South Lake High as a varsity sport. The team competed in 10 meets with increasingly good results throughout the season. The boys team was led by Senior Jacob Comfort and Juniors Joe Crachiola and Steve Osinski. The girls team was anchored by veteran Tori Vives as well as newcomers Taylor Tarpey and Sarah Likens. The boys team finished 9th at Regionals, 6th in the MAC Gold (22nd overall in MAC), and 18th at the Macomb County meet. The girls did not finish the season with a full team for scoring, but are looking forward to the opportunity to compete as a team this fall.
