Tsunami Relief Fundraiser
Students
in the South Lake High School's Business Management program
offered incentives so they could raise funds to help victims
of the Dec. 26th Tsunami disaster...and the incentives worked!
Several teachers and administrators made promises that
would help the campaign. Mr. VonHiltmayer promised
to dye his hair pink, Mr. Kasperian would shave his head,
Ms. Nimity promised to dye her hair platinum blonde and Mr.
Opsommer would dress as a cheerleader. Even Principal Mr.
Bearden had his ear pierced! At the end of the weeklong
event, the students and staff raised over $4,500 for the American
Red Cross. Congratulations to all. Great work
for a great cause.
